OUR PROCESS - HUMANE POSSUM REMOVAL CENTRAL COAST

Possums are native Australian animals that are not looking to harm you and will generally stay away from people. Unfortunately, they do tend to make your home theirs at times, especially if you live in quite a busy area. While they are cute, they can be extremely noisy and can cause problems that can affect the health of your family.

Possums are protected by the Wildlife Act 1975 which means it is prohibited to kill, harm or relocate them. Relocation might seem to be the cruelty-free way to remove a possum from your property, however, moving them too far away from their territory can result in a high amount of stress to the animal and will likely kill them. Possums are extremely territorial.

We will inspect your property, identifying possible entry points and areas of susceptibility, we also check the top of the roof, around the perimeter of the building and in the ceiling cavity.

We will communicate costs with you and from there we will implement the following strategies:

  • Sealing entry points
  • Installation of a temporary one-way door system to allow possums to exit but not enter
  • Removal of the one-way door once possums have exited
  • Professional tips and advice to stop or at least try and prevent the problem from coming back.
  • Continual support until a resolution has been achieved.
